I mostly use the Osmo Pocket 3 with the DJI microphone that comes with the creator kit. I found the microphone holder online for about $10.
Mostly Final Cut Pro (because I paid for it once 10 years ago and never have to pay again. I prefer Premiere as an editing software.) I will also use CapCut to make shorts or clean up my audio quickly.
I’m a video producer for CNBC Business News. I make YouTube videos about topics in the news and I make videos for the company’s social media. I mostly focus on personal finance and U.S. policy.
CNBC helped me get verified with Twitter and Instagram. The purpose was to assure people I reach out to online that I am, in fact, a CNBC producer.
No, sorry! I have no sway over social media platforms.
It would be irresponsible of me to give out investing advice. I recommend consulting a professional fiduciary for financial guidance.
I taught myself by playing around in Adobe Premiere. It helped to watch a lot of online videos and try to copy the styles I liked until I figured out my own. There are a lot of great (free and paid) resources available online to get you started. I also bought the book “How to Shoot Video That Doesn’t Suck” back when it first came out in 2011, which was a great primer for learning the basics to telling stories through video.
I get so many messages that I can’t reply to all of them. I’m sorry 🙁
